Do I have herpes?

I've been getting big red bumps (one at a time) on my upper thigh, sometimes they appear inbetween my thighs or near the anus and I'm wondering if its herpes. There only painful when it rubs either my underwear or agaisnt my other thigh. I've looked up some symptoms but the only one I seem to have is the red bumps. It doesn't itch or burn and I haven't had any flu like symptoms or any discharge and I havent had any sort of clusters like some of the pictures I have seen or gotten any on my genitalia.

I've been acne prone ever since my teen years and I use to get them even then, but I'm not sure they were this painful or occured this much. I shave there every once in awhile, but haven't for a long time and they still seem to come up. I have been a little more stressed but I'm not sure that has to do with anything.

Also it doesn't seem to be puss filled either; its a big red bump, seems like there is fluid in there and the edges seem to be crusting.

this could be many things, including herpes going on. following up on it properly is the best course of action.

The location and description of the bumps isn't typical for a genital Herpes infection.

Based on your description, it seems like Folliculitis, but either way, you should really see a dermatologist and get a correct diagnosis to treat this.
