Do I have herpes?

Both my girlfriend and i have canker sores. I believe she gave me oral sex with one about 6 months ago. I started to get bumps on the left side of the shaft and underneath.  And little red bumps around the head. It gets pretty itchy at night when i sleep.   I'm really scared and i dont know how to bring it up with my girl friend.

Not serious to have a fungal infection and some antifungal cream would clear it up if its fungal but getting tested would be advised just to make sure all is ok. See a doc about the irritations

Hi, its is quite possible to contract genital hsv1 with a obvious lip sore at the time. But if you already have hsv1 oral, the risk would be extremely low esp if you have an old infection as you have strong antibodies to help prevent it. Most that contract it in both areas are from having a recent oral infection where antibodies are not yet built. Bottom line is its possible so you both should have a blood test to confirm your status. What your describing does appear more fungal related.
