Do I have herpes??

I had unprotected sex with a girl 2 weeks ago.  2 days later I felt some discharge from my penis, but have never seen it and there no stains in my boxers.  Nothing comes out of my penis when squeezing it.  it just feels wet down there sometimes.  That has continued and I started getting worried and doing research.  5 days after sex I got a fever blister on my bottom lip.  The next day I started having tingling on my penis and when I went the bathroom.  This has all continued.  It has now been 2 weeks from when I had sex.  Still have the tingling and wetness in my boxers.  The tingling has been going on a week and the wetness 2 weeks.  I have not had any blisters or sores on my genitals to date.  Just the one on my lip which is healing.  I got tested for Chlamydia, gonorrhea and herpes.  I tested 10 days after having the unprotected sex.  The only thing positive was herpes I.  I realize now it was too early to test for herpes II. Do you think I have herpes?

No reason at all to believe this is HSV2.

It may well be a general infection of your urethra.

Thanks for your reply.  I was doing research and was for sure it was Chlamydia but that came back negative.  I've now started worrying it is herpes.  I have had more itching in the genital area in the last two days but maybe i'm just worrying now.  I also had some pains in the kidney area two days ago but that only lasted a few hours.  I thought it was strange to have the tingling for a whole week.

Nothing you describe says genital herpes. Tingling is not a symptom of an initial outbreak. It's a symptom of reoccurring outbreaks. Its the feeling of the virus crwaling along the nerve path. Your noticing these things because you are hyper aware of your genital area. Contracting any STI from a single exposure is highly unlikely.  Like around 1 in  a 1000
