Can Herpetic whitlow Hsv2 be passed through sex
About a month ago I had unprotected sex. I have never done this and I am in my 40's. I regretted it instantly. About 5 days later my finger broke out. I went to the Dr and had it swabbed. It was positive for Hsv2. I had my obgyn check my genitals, inside and out and she found nothing.
I am wondering if it is localized to my finger only since I have not broke out anywhere else and if I can pass this to others when my finger is not broke out?
Also, can I spread it to my genitals if I am broke out?
