herpes/yeast
I just got done taking monistat 7 day cream adapter for a yeast infection. I have small bumps more then one on both sides of the outside lips of the vagina. It doesn't hurt at all and it makes thing confusing because I have herpes and I cant figure out if it's yeast or herpes. I think it's from the yeast and I'm hoping it will go away because I don't want the yeast to come back.The bumps are the color of my skin and you real can't see them to much by looking I can just feel them there. I just want answers and I wanna know if it's OK to have sex with my husband now. I was done taking nobody 7 day cream this Wednesday night.please help.
I'm normally have sex but I was on my period at the time and started to feel the pain and it was swollen and it burned but I thought it was herpes until my meds didn't work and then I know it was yeast and not to long after using it I felt better. i think my period is what caused my yeast infection..I still can get some cream out of the tube and I'm putting it on the outside of my vagina for now and I will see if that makes the burning give away and the bumps.

Hi, older herpes infections do not break out on both sides of the vagina but are side specific. So if your concerned this is an outbreak from an older infection, its not. More recent infections could be onboth sides but from what your describing appears as a fungal from the yeast.
