Fear i have herpes

Brief history:
5 weeks post exposure (unprotected oral and protected vaginal)

Had red scrotum and tingling and Frequent urination, and dull ache in groin starting day 2. No visible sores on penis or scrotum. These continued until now,

Had full STD panel done day 7 - all negative

had hsv1 & hsv 2 type test done @ 4 weeks - negative

Doctors think it's physcological and put me on anxiety meds.

Week 5 - Developed pain in shaft and severe chapped lips (think I could have spread it there) with possible sores, not fully developed yet.

Feeing weird irritation in eyes (fear I spread it there to)

Should I demand to get mouth sores tested. Showed doctors some other bumps that cropped up on cheek, chin and neck and tingled just like groin, they said nothing to worry about.

Still no visible signs in the groin area of any blistering.

Am I just full of anxiety or can herpes prentice like this?

Urologist said nothing new in urine sample I gave. He did'nt even examine me. He said I am fine, but that he would do a seamen culture just to rule anything else out. It l

we've discussed your situation on the std forum before.  really nothing says herpes at this point.  the risk of herpes was low too.  

following up with the urologist is the best course of action at this point.  

You also should consider looking for a counselor/therapist to talk to too at this point. You've had a lot of anxiety over this for many weeks now and it doesn't seem to be getting better.  sometimes just talking to a professional face to face allows you to stop worrying so much as well as learn better ways to destress yourself!

Had pretty bad pain in groin and penis on Tuesday night, enough to have to take motrin. Then wed morning pain was gone or diminished to almost nothing except for when in a seated position. After urinating int morning I noticed drop of milky discharge but have not seen anything since. The pain is only noticeable when siting now. I have an appointment with a urologist today. Still freaking out that this is herpes.

Thx for the post. Just can't shake the feeling, body just doesnt feel right. Woke up this morning and lips are swollen and I have some cancor sores on the inside of the mouth. I will try and relax, but it's tough.

You have anxiety.  A single sexual encounter is a low risk for STD's including herpes.  Time to move on.  Keep working with your providers on your symptoms.
