Fellatio and Herpes

Hello, Im a 21 year old male in a tough situation.. See i love my girlfriend with all my heart, but im afraid one drunken night might ruin what im so lucky to have.. One night a prostitute performed Unprotected fellatio on me and i ejaculated in her mouth.. the encounter lasted about 15-20 minutes if i remember correctly... At the time i wasnt aware of a herpes risk..lets call the encounter day 1.. I refrained from any sexual contact with my girlfriend until my tests for chlamydia, syphillis and gono came back negative around Day 20...i then began to have sex with my girlfriend.. About 2 weeks after our first sex we had since my hiccup, my girlfriend complained of itchiness and burning during urination (app. day 30) Her doctor (who didnt actually look down there) told her it was yeast infection... It went away after a little less than a week had gone by and her doing things to rid of yeast.. Ive since learned that yeast can easily be confused with herpes and i have not told my girlfriend of the hiccup for 3 months now.. she had a way less severe case of itchiness in the beginning of both her periods.. headaches also were apparent on those days.. also i have had no itchiness or lesions, but the few days leading up to my std test results, i did have some problems with frequently feeling like i have to urinate, but little urine actually coming out.. but have learned that also couldve been ftom stress

i basically want to know if:
is it possible i gave her hsv in the genitals?? or am i worrying too much??
what would explain her slight itchiness and headaches RIGHT before her period??

I should mention that Oral sex is a low risk and not every exposure leads to infection.

It was sad the doctor didn't look to make sure.  Get tested yourself to know your status.

To correct Kcheese

HSV-1 to genitals does happen (and is most often the cause of new genital infections is oral sex when no signs of coldsore were present).

To answer your questions yes this could be HSV or it could have been yeast.  Have you had an IgG HSV test to know your own status?  The symptoms started pretty close to your sexual encounter and could be HSV.  However, I would say at this point you need to be tested.  Sadly if you have not had testing before using a type specific IgG testing you won't know your status before this encounter.  Have you had coldsores or fever blisters?

If it has been 3 months since your encounter, and you have had no visible outbreaks.
I would recommend you do a HSV-2 Igg test (blood test) to see if you have it or not.
HSV-1 transmission to Genitals is not a very common occurrence.

Did your girlfriend mention any type of bumps or pimples that appeared?
