Insight please???

I am 33. I was diagnosed with HSV2 genital when I was 21 years old. I take my Valtrex on a daily basis. Rarely having an outbreak in years.  I recently got involved with a guy and he is aware. We had intercourse several times. Last time being the 1st of December. He as of last night wasn't feeling good. Hot and cold sweats, Sore throat, his groin area and butt check he said was achy the night before. There are no lesions or sores. he said he felt like he was getting sick a couple days prior with a sore throat.  Could this mean I infected him or is it just a virus. I take my medicine daily and went to the OB 2 weeks ago and she said everything looked good and I wasn't having a outbreak. Just makes me nervous. She also said that on my valtrex the likely hood of me shedding it is slim. Is that true?

odds are this is a non-herpes related infectino he has.

was your partner tested for herpes to know his status before you started having sex?
