I was diagnosed with genital hsv1 almost 2 years ago. There was the primary outbreak, only 5 bumps that were about the size of a dime, didn't look like they were clustered together, but were painful and iched. I had no sign of a fever or anything. I haven't had any suspicion of a reoccurance untill this summer when I started seeing bumps again (about 10 weeks ago) . But they were not in my pubic region. I counted 15 bumps total in a matter of 5 days that almost looked like a blister about the size of a dime but not quite like the ones I saw before. They were scadered around my hip line, under each armpit along my bra line, and a vew on my legs. They iched like crazy and the ones I iched turned into little scabs, but they didn't hurt. They completly healed after 3 weeks. I didn't know what to think and drew the conclusion that they were bed bites (I was temporarily sleeping in an old bed and tried to find similar pictures of bed bites). Now after that I couldn't help but wonder if that was an outbreak. On Sunday (4 days ago) I had something really weird happen. All of a sudden I felt like I was being attacked by fire ants on my butt going from the crease under my butt, up, around, and to the other cheek. It severly hurt and I thought that I had ants in my pants (haha) so I was frantically rubbing my legs, butt, and crack. Unfortunatly, I was in the back of a traveling car (at night) so I couldn't see if there were any ants, but I didn't feel any little bugs when I rubbing. I used sanatizer right after and washed my hands when I got to my friends house. The pain subsided in about 10 minutes. I was suprised the next the day when I looked at the "bites". They were very tiny, red, clustard, varied in size. There was just no way that one or two ants would make so much damage. It's been four days they haven't subsided, kinda ich a little, and there is a dull pain in my leg under my butt just like the pain I expierenced with my primary outbreak and there is a little tingling. I haven't iched them and when I attempt to look at them I was wash my hands. The bumps have not spread, blistered, or crusted. I don't have insurance to go to the doctor, nor the money to go to planned parenthood.
1) Do these "bites" sound like they could be an outbreak or even hsv related?
2) Can genital hsv1 reoccur on any part of body at anytime and vary in size?
Pictures from the internet were too extreme when compared to even my first outbreak. The two events of "bug bites" were defenitly different sores.
3) If they are outbreaks, could it be very possible to pass hsv to my partner a week prior to the outbreak?
We had unprotected sex 11 days ago and he has never been diagnosed with hsv nor does he have any current signs. As a note: I did feel week and feverish the 2 days we had sex but then felt better afterwards. As I understand, shedding is always occuring and most contagious before during and after an outbreak.
Thank you,
