Genital Herpes

I believe I caught HSV-1 orally about six months ago...  I also believe I caught HSV-1 genitally about four weeks ago or less... My symptoms were never more than a blister that appeared on my lips and also on my genitals, but they never burst or popped... Just the common symptoms - tingling, itching... However, on my genitals it seems to be a bit more painful... I have been using a transdermal oxygem cream which GREATLY reduces the discomfort and the rising of the white 'blisters.'   I have also been taking mushroom supplements to boost my immunity and oxgeyn utilization of my cells.... I began to take valacyclovir today... My question is, why aren't these 'blisters' doing anything other than appearing and then disappearing after I put the cream or even tea tree oil?  Also, is valacyclovir a good choice for dealing with the genital HSV-1?

Thank you

Thank you.  I have been seen and am going to be tested during the week.  Any thoughts as to what the white blisters that do not pop can be?
