Am going to a obg(gynecologist) tomorrow i just got my period today, and i was going to do a test for stds and vaginal test? i think you cant but is there any other tests that i can get while just getting my period, that i can get checkout becuase i dont want to go for no reason and for a fact i need to get some type of vaginal test? also i forgot to mention before, in the past year my vagina labia has been tearing, some type of dry tear all around it and it dark from all around in the type and they it alot sometimes as well, but i have not gotten any type of while dots or pimpels or any fevers or anything like that, all i have is what am telling you the itching and the my labia being tear but really small tears and its been like that for a year or more,i did get something on my mount on the top of my celing but i think that was like a dry throuht or so, because it did not last more than 2-3 days, for the other thing in my down there that i mentiod i tried some creams but nothing seems to work i dont know what to do thats why i decided to go to the doctor, but than this comes, my period, i already when i take my hiv test, i have to wait for the result but than they told me for some other type of exam i cannot have my period so i guess that cant happen until it goes away. please let me know if you had some type of cases like this before

Yes if you are concerned about std's then your partner needs tested too. Just getting yourself tested is only half of the picture.

do you think my mate should get herpes and std tested as well, can you get any while wearing a condom during sex? also grace is there a cure for std or herpes
You can get your screening for std's done. Personally I'd call them in the morning and reschedule it all for a week from now so that they can more accurate examine you and get a better picture of what the skin is looking like since you are describing tears and redness.
