HELP! UTI? Vaginal Tearing? STD? BV? Vestibulitis????

Hi, I am having some problem and hope that anyone will have some advice.

For the past week or so, I was feeling an increased urge to urinate but only at night before I go to bed. I would often go, jump into bed, take a couple sips of water, and then have to go again. This subsided about couple days ago but has now returned along with worse problems after having prolonged sex with my boyfriend 3 nights ago.

Let me give some background information: My boyfriend and I have been sexually active with each other for 4 months. We have sex on a daily basis and I have never had a problem after sex. This is the most frequently I have ever been sexually active. The other night, we had sex as normal and then had sex another time following. The second time we started I felt a little sore upon beginning but it subsided with in a couple seconds and we continued. The sex lasted longer than usual and after the first two seconds didn’t hurt at all, I was very well lubricated. I would say the sex was the best I have ever had, however afterward my vagina felt a little weird, like a dull warming sensation.. I assume this was just from being around. I went to the bathroom and urinated after as I always do and wash the area quickly with water.

THE PROBLEM:
The next morning when I woke up I felt fine. After a few hours, I went to the bathroom and noticed a very intense pain while urinating. I was startled, as I did not expect the bad stinging sensation. Immediately after, I inspected the after with a mirror and noticed what looked like two small cuts on what I believe is referred to the “vestibul,” it is located right night to my urethra. This is obviously what is causing the awful burning sensation. Then next day after experiencing the pain it did not subside at all and not I am on day 3 with this terrible situation and it doesn’t seem to be getting better. Today I inspected my self with a mirror again, I noticed the larger cut is a lot more red in the area around it and the smaller one is still painful but not as red. The larger one is about 1.5 cm in diameter. It looks something like this link which is a picture showing vulvar vestibulitis: (warning this is not a picture of me but is graphic: http://dermatlas.med.jhmi.edu/derm/indexDisplay.cfm?ImageID=-1858716727)

Vulvar Vesitbulitis seems to be a chronic condition and I have never experienced this before. I realize there is a possibility I could have just torn or gotten a cut during sex. I am hoping this is the case. Also, could this be UTI? I ask because of my urge to urinate at night, but do UTI’s cause physical sores??? I supposed it could also be a yeast infection? I am so confused. I cannot get a Dr appointment within a week and I am actually moving out of town this coming Sunday (it is Tuesday now) so I have no idea when I will be able to go. I NEED SOME RELEIF ASAP☹

Has anyone experienced anything like this or have any idea how I can make the cuts heal quickly???  I researched vaginal tears those are supposed to heal within 2-3 days and mine is not. I am so stressed with moving, this is the last thing I need. I also will not see my boyfriend for a couple months and this is an awful way to leave things. I am so fed up.

PS- In case it matters even though—I had a serve case of mono a little over a month ago, during that time, with my weakened immune system I had an HSV-1 outbreak. I was also on my period, which makes me nervous that I could have touched a cold sore and given myself HSV-2??? I pray to God that is not happening. Does this situation sound like HSV-2 at all?? I don’t think it does but I am nervous because I have no answers.

well definitely too late for a lesion culture if you started valtrex.

go and be seen and get properly tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally and go from there.

I was tested 5 months ago, my boyfriend however has not been tested in about a year. The earliest appointment I could get was next week Tuesday, but I am moving to a new city for a job the day before. They don't seem very concerned with fitting me in earlier. I a trying but the waiting is terrible. It is has been over 72+ hours since I noticed the cuts, would a culture still be helpful? Do this sounds like it could be herpes?

I forgot to mention I have a prescription for Valtrex that I got for my HSV-1 when I had a bad cold sore outbreak due to a weakened immune system when I was veryyy sick w/ mono over a little month a go. I read up on to dosage for HVS-2 outbreaks and started taking it JUST INCASE, as I am desperate to get rid of whatever I this is. I figured it couldnt hurt at this point. I have taken 2 and a half full days of it and have noticed no improvement. IF it was herpes, which I have no idea, when would it start to improve with the Valtrex??

Thank you

I recommend going to be seen and get a proper exam and testing done. You need to do this today or tomorrow.  get a proper exam and get proper testing done. if they see anything that looks like herpes, they can culture it.  no reason to repeat your otc uti test at all.

have you and your partner had full std testing?

I bought a vH home UTI test. The protein on the test was normal, the nitrate which was supposed to be white was just a little off white but not pink. I will test again, but it doesn't seem to indicate a UTI..

It sounds like you may have a UTI. the cuts maybe from the sex being too rough or not enough lubrication, all in all i'd deffinantly go to the doctors if its a UTI and you wait too long to be put on antibiotics it can cause a bladder or kidney infection. you can go to the store and get a uti infection test strips to see here is a link so you know what the box looks like:
