HELP!!!

Help!  I have had cold sores all my life.  A few months ago I gave my boyfriend one...After it looked like it cleared up we had oral sex and the fever blisters got way worse!  All over the top and bottom of his lips.  This has happened twice.  The first time he was out in the sun for 6 hours the 2nd time for 10 hours.  I need to know if giving me oral sex could make his fever blisters so bad?  Or if it was the sun?  They are very painful and his lips are swollen.  Any advice would help!

THX!

No I don't think your fluids are that toxic....he he he  This is pretty much a normal course for a newly acquired oral herpes infection as an adult.  It'll slow down hopefully in time - if not there are other options for treatment too.

What dose of valtrex did they give him? ( valtrex is a herpes antiviral )

Yes, he went and got a presctiption for Valtrex.  I have no visual signs of anything on my vagina.  Do you think I could have possibly given this to him?  Like, my fluids are similar to battery acid. ;)

The friction of performing oral could aggravate a cold sore. UV light from being outside is also a known trigger. When he's outside he should have sunblock on his lips to help protect them.

Has he seen his doctor for antivirals?
