Concern about potential HSV2 exposure

I'm HSV1&2 neg. Aug 2nd/3rd (Friday night and well into Sat am), a girl & I naked grinded in a hot tub for 3-4 hours. No sex, but lots of my public region around and on her vagina. Needless to say lots of friction/rubbing (she said she was sore the next day).

Can't remember if it was this Sat or Sunday morning (14 days later), but woke up with an itchy feeling in my pubic region. I went to bathroom and saw what looked like a blister/pimple. I squeezed it and a light yellow liquid came out.  It's been itchy ever since. There's a little red mark directly below it and one about an inch to the left, but I can't really tell if there's fluid in them (they are very small). The red area is still there and I get itchy twinges every so often.  It's been 2-3 days and the inflamed area hasn't really healed.

What concerns me is: a) she finally admitted when she was pregnant 8 years ago she had some sort of blister in her girl area- she believes was a blood blister and b) she was showing me pics in her phone last Wed and accidentally showed her most recent pic:a bottle of Lysine pills. I think she might be hiding the truth from me.

1.Do girls really get blood blisters in/around their vagina during pregnancy or could that have been a herpetic manifestation?
2.Why would anyone take Lysine except for HSV?
3.How concerned should I be that the one main lesion was a herpes sore? Would fluid come back in after squeezing? Unfortunately there's no liquid left to swab.
4.Do healing sores itch?
5.The object in question could've been there before, but I felt the itchy sensation Sat/Sun. Is 14 days the right time for it to appear? Shouldn't this have appeared sooner?
6.Does the sore appear first then the fever/glands/etc or vice versa?
7.If she didn't have an active lesion when we were grinding, but the grinding caused trauma, could that have brought the HSV virus to the surface and then passed to me?
8.If it was a pimple, shouldn't it have subsided after 2-3 days? Would it still itch?

They could yes.  But it could also have been herpes.

2.Why would anyone take Lysine except for HSV?

I'm not clear why anyone would take it at all, but some people have the belief that Lysine helps herpes.

3.How concerned should I be that the one main lesion was a herpes sore? Would fluid come back in after squeezing? Unfortunately there's no liquid left to swab.

I think I would be concerned, but not very concerned about this.  Hard to know how to interpret your symptoms, but generally, HSV presents as more of a water blister than a pimple-like lesion.
4.Do healing sores itch?

Yes, even if they aren't herpes.

5.The object in question could've been there before, but I felt the itchy sensation Sat/Sun. Is 14 days the right time for it to appear? Shouldn't this have appeared sooner?

Usually herpes symptoms show up sooner than 14 days, yes.  The other thing is that hot tubs by themselves, if not properly treated, can cause skin rashes such as the one you describe.

6.Does the sore appear first then the fever/glands/etc or vice versa?

I would say usually the fevers come first, then sores.

7.If she didn't have an active lesion when we were grinding, but the grinding caused trauma, could that have brought the HSV virus to the surface and then passed to me?

It could have worked that way, yes.  But it isn't likely at all.

8.If it was a pimple, shouldn't it have subsided after 2-3 days? Would it still itch?

This is hard to say, honestly.  Have you had any antibody testing yet for HSV?

If you still have the symptoms on your pubic any area please see a doc for more conclusive diagnose. Lysine rich diet/supplement is recommended for people w hsv. However not sure people w hsv1 in the mouth would take it. During pregnancy hormonal level chafe might cause herpes recurrence and is recommended during last three month to go on suppressive therapy.

Also side note / HSV1 question:

Went out on Sat. I didn't notice friend had a cold sore (she was taking meds to make sure it didn't get full blown).  It was a red spot but definitely there.

1. I drank after her in her drink, but used my straw.  I wouldn't catch HSV from the actual liquid/her backwash, right?
2. She was trying to be funny and I guess give me a "wet willy" but a turned my head and just as luck would have it, her wet finger hit the bottom of my lip. I wiped it off quickly but maybe I "ground it into my lip" when I did it.  Is HSV "in" saliva? Could I get it that way?

These are two low risk events for getting a cold sore, correct?

Thanks for the service.
