It will do no harm. It may be negative, but sometimes low positives persist for a period of time. In this case, the Westernblot will sort things out quickest.

Any value less than 3.5 needs verification with Westernblot or until you test negative in future.
I have a follow up test (with the exact same test). If that comes up above 1.1, is it definitely positive? Is there any benefit to having a lower positive value? Does it make it less likely to pass the virus on? Does it make you less likely to have an outbreak? Since I've never had a symptom, how do I even know if it's genital or oral?
Hi, not to worry as is almost certainly a false positive as any number 3.5 and below would need retesting. Have the Western Blot if possible but again dont be concerned.
