Herpes Ulcer

I was told 2 years ago after I had my second child I had herpes (from a blood test). I was told that I had it since before my first child.. I never had a break out. 2 doctors told me they never heard of it being found through blood test. A week ago today I had what felt like a cyst on my pubic area. It was not red or irritated. Two days ago it became red and Today it oozed and bleed and it almost looks like a big pimple or hair bump.. I never had an outbreak from my diagnoses.. Does this sound like an outbreak and what can  I use to help

Just  because you know you have genital herpes, doesn't mean that everything that goes on down yonder is caused by herpes. does that make sense?  I encourage you to return to your provider and have this looked at since it hasn't changed in 2 weeks.

Well we are not together anymore Its my childrens father but He says he has but I think he is lying.  Its been two weeks now and it still looks the same. It doesn't look like anything I have seen on any Website. Everytime something is wrong I rush to the doctor thinking Herpes is what it is but they always say no.  I guess I should go ASAP.

The doctors who said they never heard of it being found on a blood test need to get their heads out from under the rocks they have them under and do a little reading about herpes!!! Geez louise.

We can best help you if you can call the clinic and ask them to read you the results of your blood test and write  them down to post here - ie hsv1 igg 4. 7 and hsv2 igg 6. 1 or whatever they are.  That way we can see if you need additional testing to confirm your status or not.  You other option is to call and be seen today and get this cultured for herpes.

Until proven otherwise, assume that this is a herpes lesion. Has your partner ever been tested to know what his status is?
