HSV2 Exposure

I reunited with an old g/f a few weeks ago and we ended up having a round of unprotected sex.   About 10 days later she contacted me upset saying she had just found out she had contracted HSV2 from her previous bf she had broken up with a month ago.   She had a lesion that she had cultured and a positive IGG Test.   These were all recent symptoms and her IGG test was a Low Positive pointing to a recent infection.   I know it is too early but I went and had an IGG 2 test done at 13 days which returned Negative.  I am going to test again after 3 and 4 weeks and again at 12 weeks.    I have had no symptoms since my contact with her.   Zero lesions or blisters on my penis or Glands and no fever, malaise, etc   I have one spot on my pubic area , but It may have always been there and almost resembles a red mole. Nothing like a blister and hasnt changed in the week since I noticed it. Also, it doesn't itch and there has been no pain in that area.   I know I need to be tested again at 12 weeks to be sure, but I just wanted your idea on this particular exposure.

The fact that you have not had any obvious blisters, lesions or sores is very reassuring. So much so that I do not think your negative test results are going to change. No one can guarantee you did not catch herpes from your recent partner, but there is nothing to suggest you did. Certainly, your "spot" on your pubic area does not suggest herpes at all. I do not think you were infected.
