OraL HSV 2

Recent Dx of Atypical Asymptomatic HSV 2. Experienced burning, itching and tingling in vaginal area 3days after mostly oral sex last year. Very short unprotected vaginal and penis interraction..very short as this was not what was wanted or discussed. Itching and tingling recurred 3 times afterward initial outbreak with a small paper cut appearing (fissure) on the second outbreak...in the same spot. I was confused if this was even it. Got tested for what I thought was everything with negative results. No herpes test included to my surprise....ugh. No more symptoms arose or at least I didnt recognized any. Maybe due to already taking several vitamins...including LLysine...not sure. I remember experiencing a specific pain in my right butt cheek for a couple of days, but I was currently working out. I also experienced a rash on both inner thighs due to what I appeared to be from friction from workout suit..applied some cream and it went away quickly...it left dark bruising.
No sexual contact with anyone for almost year.
First sexual encounter was ruff after this....I tore in that exact same spot as the fissure and bleed from the tear. Sex was painful....still no draining blisters or such. The tear healed in a day...no crusting. Didnt have sex for another month. This time not so painful with a little lubricant....no problems at all. Didnt have sex for another month....no problems at all. My last sexual encounter is boggling me and this is how I think Ive contracted HSV 2 orally. So we're not new to each other anymore...we step up the sex act adding oral sex. He does me and I do him (unprotected). He kisses me after he does me. 24 hours later and I mean literally 24 hours and I have a sore throat. Im extremely worried now. So I say to him...thanks for the sore throat and he says dont go there....I dont have anything and from my testing I dont either.(But No Hsv test had been done). My sore throat last for 2 wks...no cough or phlegm following. Then difficulty swallowing follows. I do all the usual throat treatments...no improvement....my ears start to feel funny also. My doctor order ABX but no improvent. I started seeing something like an abrasion on my gum where my molars use to be. The first one disappeared in a day. A day later another abrasion appeared on my gum behind the original spot...it stayed for several days. I gargled with peroxide for a couple days and still no improvement,  but still no blister or drainage. Week 3 im extremely nervous. I schedule my annual exam with the GYN and request STD testing including the Hsv testing....he denies me! I explained to him my symptoms of last year...He tells me those weren't typical symptoms and he doesnt think I need to be tested. I ask again. He says I think you're fine...you're overreacting.  I didnt see anything doing your exam....YOU'RE FINE! I ask for a lab order to go elsewhere and have it drawn...he still denies me. Im done here. Because my mouth is still bothering me I go to the local STI CLINIC. Finally I can get the HSV testing I begged for yesterday along with getting my throat swabbed for the regular STDs along with HIV. Everything negative but the HSV 2. Im.....everything you could think of at this point....EVERYTHING! I call my GYN very flustered with him. That's when he called me Atypical Asymptomatic. However, at this time my throat/mouth is still bothering me. I start the Acyclovir as prescribed...not sure why because ive had no outbreaks since last year. So I stop it and keep doing what I was doing before. As days go by still difficulty swallowing...ears bothering me. Im stressed like no other! Sore spot still on my gum. Then I noticed a white spot on my inner Right cheek near my upper teeth...no pain...just a pus filled spot....very small. I scheduled an appt. with my Pcp at this time for a culture which she wouldn't and didn't do. A day later I noticed another spot that looked like a line with pus....still inner Right cheek. They were there for 3 days until I applied zinc oxide and they disappeared in less than 24hrs. Nothing appeared on Sat. as I layed depressed all day. Sunday I went to the movies with a friend. Right before heading out I brushed my teeth and didnt notice a thing. While in the movies I get my food and start eating and notice a bump inside my bottom lip still no pain. I stopped eating...depression returned.   The next day I applied zinc oxide again and it started disappearing....then along the other side of my bottom lip another small pustule appear. Applied zinc oxide and it disappeared. Around my mouth I have  constant crawling, itching feeling. I think I contracted oral HSV due to me shedding the virus and my sex partner kissing me after oral sex. Btw, he was tested...maybe too soon....HSV 2 negative. Confused...could this be?

if you are only getting a + or - result on the blood test, worthwhile to pursue a confirmatory test like a WB or even a biokit hsv2 igg blood test.  Hard to rule out false positives without numerical results.

this sounds like canker sores or even mouth trauma more than herpes. At this point to confirm for your own peace of mind, get a lesion culture within 48 hours of the appearance of lesions.

There was a single ulcer for a day until another showed....presenting more of a line...still inner right cheek...not close together. No pain or crusting associated. Possibly due to applying zinc oxide and taking Acyclovir.

Ive read that Zinc Oxide speeds healing....research the Internet...as for what I used its considered medical grade. You cant get it over the counter.  I work in the medical field.

Im not sure what exact test was done. I called the clinic and the clinican wasnt sure of which one was used....she thinks it was the Herpes Select,  but not sure and no values were given. She stated all the lab tells them is the test is negative or positive

Yes, I visited with my dentist, but by that time everything was healed...so I wasted my money going.

Im almost positive this is the case. The tingling and crawling around my mouth continues...now along with my tongue. My teeth are now all of a sudden sensitive....which they weren't before.

I understand you're not a doctor and everybody symptoms are different.
Its sad, but I believe it is the case. Im of the rare few. Sad!

herpes wouldn't show up as a single ulcer inside your cheek. That's more like consistent with canker sores which are different and not contagious.

herpes wouldn't cause frequent tingling in the mouth area like you describe either.

actually no, zinc oxide doesn't speed healing of herpes sores. It's aqueous zinc that was helpful and it's no available otc in the US.

what testing did you have done that was + for hsv2? if it was a blood test, can you please post the results so we can  better help you?

have you seen your dentist with all of this?

My blood test is recent...last month. His test may have been too soon. Ive accepted the results as I believe they are accurate.
HSV 2 oral may be rare, but it can happen. I think im another rare case. I also have this constant crawling/tingling sensation around my mouth every since the first ulcer showed up inside my inner cheek. No blister ever form....just the sensation.
Please take into consideration the application of zinc oxide which is proven to speed up healing.

Hi, nothing that you describe would suggest youve contracted herpes. Getting oral hsv2 is very rare and sores dont come an go in a day or 2.
I would advise you to have a blood test now. As a rule, 8 weeks post exposure would be a good indicator and 3 to 4  months would be conclusive.
