whats wrong with down there?

for a while now, ive had some itching in my vaginal area and ive noticed a few little bumps. i used nair to get a better look as to what was going on. after the nair, the itching stopped but i noticed about 5 or 6 small bumps on the left side. a few of them has had a white cap on top, could it be herpies? im only 17 and i have never had sex. im starting to freak out a little bit please help

Nair is a myriad of chemicals that can be extremely irritating - and can even burn the skin (read the warning label)... It's probably the worst thing you could have done for an already itchy/irritated area.

If you have never had oral, vaginal, or anal sex this is not herpes going on.  See your provider for a work up.  You may have a yeast problem but have your doctor test you for that and bacterial infections.
