How long does herpes usually take to show?

So, the last time I had sex with this guy, lets call him K, was about a little over a month before my outbreak. He says he does not have anything and is sure that when we had sex he didn't have anything, however I don't know if he just thinks that or if actually knew because he was tested. So anyways, I hook up with another guy, lets call him B, recently. He informs me after we have had sex that a girl he was previously hooking up with about a month before had herpes. He said not to worry because he got tested and everything was negative. However, about two days after we had sex, I started feeling like I was getting a UTI. Then fast forward a couple more days and I am in the worst pain of my entire life. The doctor has swabbed me and I get results this week but she says she is pretty positive it is herpes. She said that blood tests don't show up positive for 3-6 months after exposure so B could technically still have the disease and just be asymptomatic. One more fact, a few days before I had sex with B, I started feeling like I had a sinus infection. I guess my question is would it most likely be from J or from B? I would 99% think B if I wouldn't have had the sinus infection the day before I had sex with him.
