Healing stage symptoms

Can anyone describe to me the healing stage of genital hsv? My blisters popped and i am now on the third or fourth day since they popped. It never scabbed it seems to have a little mark but no scab but it itches alot! And i have a head ache this afternoon. Is this normal or is it possible to get another outbreak one after another? Currently on my 9th day of acyclovir/ zovirax oral and cream. Thank you.

My sores were in the inner labia of vagina. But not iside the canal if thats what you mean. They were sorrs than blisters. I will get my results today. Do you know if it is possible to get back to back recurrences while still on meds?

Herpes most always appears in the same spot give or take an inch. If the itching is there it may just be an after effect from the healing process. But how were your diagnosed positive for herpes as the only area where scabbing doesnot take place is sores inside the vagina area. Maybe its not herpes.
