herpes symptoms but not herpes so what is it?

Here's a topic for discussion! I have read quite a few posts about people displaying symptoms of herpes however testing (or on sight examinations)result in a diagnosis of not herpes. Has anybody ever found the cause of their symptoms? I have tried to look for other ailments that match herpes symptoms but can't find any, especially that are sexually transmitted-as it's fair to say people are generally worried about herpes after they develop symptoms after a sexual contact? If it isn't herpes and all other std checks are negative then what is it? Can people transfer other medical conditions via sex that aren't an std that may cause skin irritation and swelling as well as fever etc? Just a thought.

anxiety can cause the symptoms you describe.

Generally people are worried about herpes or other stds , expecially if symptoms occur.


Many people think they aquired a std  because of symptoms  and  because what they read on the internet.  Once you worry your anxiety kicks in and start messing with your body thus causing symptoms.

However if you get symptoms it doesnt hurt to get checkedout expecially if you had unprotected sex.

I can't say for all cases but definitely for myself the anxiety only kicked in once all the symptoms came. Not the other way round!
