it has been 6 days since i tried anti fungal cream and it hasn't helped i've also been on anti biotics for a recent surgery... and yesterday i started taking an anti fungal pill the doctor perscribed but it still doesn't look any better
sorry this is my last post but just want to make sure i get everything in also a week before this the last test i had was the rapid BIOKIT for hsv2 thats what i meant by rapid test.
Thanks
im not sure if you can look at google pictures but when i googled yeast infection this came up and looks almost nearly identical to my situation... the blister looking things are almost in the exact place.. http://www.clivir.com/pictures/yeast/yeastpenis2.jpg
sorry last comment- the "blister" is almost like a canker sore... the white sort of wipes off when i wipe it and then just looks like a small cut or abrasion. Its not like a typical blister I'd see on my hands after batting practice etc... not like something is trapped inside...
might i add that im uncircumcised and most of the scratches and or itch/redness was under my foreskin... also a bit on the head of my penis... the "blister" was where i itched it the most on the left side underneath my foreskin
NOne of the experiences that you describe put you at risk for HSV 2. The Biokit is a good test though no test is perfect. Yeast (or fungal infections) can make the penis look red and raw and sometimes, there are sores associated with this called satellite lesions, that can sometimes mimic a herpes infection. I'm not clear why the antifungal infection medicine isn't working yet, but I would advise that you give it more time. Are you saying that it has made no impact at all on the rash, or it just isn't getting any better? Have you been back to let your health care provider have a look at the rash a second time since you started taking the medicine?
