Is this possible

Hey guys thanks in advance for this one might think i am a little crazy.
I have a very close friend and he tells me he has HSV genitally. We work on cars together all the time and as we were the other day.
This might sound a little strange but whenever i cut myself for eg. my finger a always suck it untill it clots.
The other day when we were working together on the car i was underneath the bay and he was working above the bonnet and i noticed a drop of blood on my hand so i sucked it off without thinking.

I know this might be a strange case but turns out it was his blood he had cut himself while tightening a bolt. I am extremely worried about this situation and any help would be much appreciated.

What are the chances i could contract?

The antibodies to the virus are in the blood. Not the virus itself.

Contract what? Herpes? Zero.

Time for you to start reading. Herpes isn't found in blood. I know you'll find this hard to believe but ... genital herpes is passed ... through sex!  Yep, it's true. Incredible, isn't it?
