Herpes/Other STD Scare?

Hello, I am a 21 year old male with a circumcised penis. I am sexually active with my girlfriend and we engage in unprotected sex. We have both been tested a few times as well and have been negative. Recently after sex, I noticed some discomfort whenever I pull my skin back. This morning as I was showering and after I scrubbed the area with soap, I noticed that there were a couple of cuts there. Is this a sign for STD/herpes? Or is this a normal sign from vigorous sex and masturbation? Thanks.
