Where is it? What does this mean....

So, I tested postivie for HSV1, but I have never had an outbreak, genitally or orally....well sometimes there have been times when I had a bump near my lip, but it never resembled the pictures on google...so, i'm not sure really where the HSV1 is and I don't know what to tell futuer sex partners.."I may or may not have genital herpes" sounds a little silly, any help would be great, thank you:)

are all symtoms the same?

statistically it's hsv1 orally. Most adults have hsv1 though only 20-40% of them ever get obvious symptoms to know that they are infected.
