Herpes, cut.

Hi - embarrassing question . Showing a small scab over outbreak on my shaft. I masterbated in the shower this morning. I was sure to clean my hands with soap for about 20 seconds after. I got out of the shower and my 3 yr old had market all over her hand. I went to wash it and she pulled away and her fingernail digging into my hand I used and cut it with her fingernail drawing blood. Is there a risk to spreading herpes to the underneath of her fingernail grinding the virus into the underneath of the nail? Thanks.

Whitlow on the hands is only contractable with a sore present. Why do you think you have whitlow? Not very common.

Understood, but what I'm thinking is the virus being on my hands a little bit and my child touching my hand with the virus on it and since she scrathced me being underneath her fingernails. Any risk from this?

Hi, if  your referring to genital hsv2 , this is consider a sexually transmitted infection and is spread by direct naked genital to genital contact. So what  your describing would not be an issue to be concerned about.
