that isn't a herpes symptom.
Okay that's all good to hear every time I get overwhelmed read over are comments and get much needed relief.
The other day I got a tiny pimple like bump on my scrotum I applied pressure and white cream substance came out. And it was gone the next day. Should I go get this cultured next time it happens? Still no typical OB the redness and itchy was have gone away, I used aloe Vera and all my skin has started to feel better. I called my doc and he said that the cream can cause hair Folicuils to clog, and that he still believed that this wasn't hsv
What do you think grace?
these aren't symptoms of herpes.
the captia test is fine for herpes testing - no worries there!
Hey grace i hope all is well?
I wanted to ask a few follow up questions and get some expert advice (you)
I have still been experiencing some genital redness and discomfort. Initially my testicals where just red and irritated i went back to my provider and he assured me that it was not.herpes related and that i just need more anti.fungal i kept taking it and it kept the redness and discomfort away. Stoped taking it three weeks ago because it wasnt making anything.better. i started using an execma cream an it has slowly beem getting better. I am still worried hsv 2. This has been going on since dec and it has gotten better i am.just worried because my.hsv2 test was a igG captia through labcorp an i have heard that those are not as reliable as herpeselect but it was still fda approved and at 13 weeks almost 14 from exposure. I still havent had any sores or real lession
What do you think?
I am currently using nyastatin and a corticosteroids to treat it. It's been going on for a while now but it has gotten better. My doctor is going to give me prescription for the non generic brand because progress has been slow but it has gotten better. Everything that is on this page from both you and the experts is 100% accurate
I took so many test but now its over
I just want this fungus to away lol
I wouldn't bother with more testing at all at this point. really, stop reading forums where folks obsess over herpes and insist that everything that goes on has to be due to herpes :)
are you still treating for a fungal infection? Sometimes you have to try a couple of different jock itch creams until you get one that works well for you. I wouldn't use the cream with the antifungal and steroid cream in for more than 2 weeks though. plenty of otc jock itch creams out there to try.
Thanks grace!
It was an immounoblot
Some people say 6 months. Is that just for people who test intermediate?
It's been the longest three months of my life, and quite educational. Had I known what I know now I would have never been in that situation. Thank God and thanks for sticking by me through out all p of this craziness. Your a Saint you help so many people and ask nothing in return. I know alot of people don't ever take the time Thank you but I want to tell you Thanks for all you do on be half of all of those that make poor choices, and those of us who are just at the wrong place at the wrong time. i still have a rash and itchyness but I am sureItis not hsv related
congrats! time to move forward :)
Tested negative for everything 15 weeks after my original exposure
Herpes igg was negstive
And all other stds are negative
How reliable are all these results, do you recommend retesting
Or can I finally put this nightmare behind me?
herpes symptoms wouldn't remain unchanged for 2 months. follow up with your provider for your symptoms.
since you have a partner to protect, indeed you should be seeking out testing for syphilis and herpes at the proper times.
I have also had a cluster of bumbs on my foreskin that has not changed in 2 months could this be herpes? Or would herpes rupture sooner
Please help
Does the fact that I am not circumsied changed my risk?
And would genital hsv1 be my main concern from this experience.
Thanks again and sorry for all the questions
Thank you so much grace!! Do you think that this exposure is worth retesting at 3 months? I have had no lesions of any kind, but I am still worried because I have a partner to protect
really no reason to think you contracted hsv2. this was a one time protected encounter and the risk of contracting it is incredibly low.
