Hsv1 igg 4.5 tested positive

Hi, before 5 weeks I had protected vaginal sex and I sucked her nipples.after six days of exposure I got rash and sore throat.after 4 weeks I have tested std panel all came negative except hsv1 igg.
I am really scared and don't know what to do further in my life.i am not yet married and I am from India.may be my life spoiled and came to ending.

Many people have hsv1 and don't know it. Your life is surely not over yet.

2/3 of the world has hsv1, and in India, it's probably about the same, maybe a little less. Just tell your future partners and don't ever kiss or give someone oral sex if you have any symptoms, or share drinks, eating utensils (you shouldn't anyway as that's how colds, flu, strep throat, etc., are spread). Other than that, your life shouldn't change at all.

But in internet some sites saying it can cause blind ness and it will damage brain.My age is 26 now.I have  live up to 40 years to take care of my parents financially .They are very innocent people I am the only person who has responsibility of them.Is it possible to live healthy up to 40 years?
