Herpes in the office

Hi,
Today I noticed that a co-worker had a huge crusted cold sore on her lip which she kept touching. We work in an office and I've heard from other co-workers that cold sores spread like wildfire in such a workplace...so does this mean that when I touch a surface e.g. use a keyboard that she has been using, that I too will get herpes if I touched their mouth/touched their genitals whilst wiping in the toilet?
I don't carry the herpes virus as far as I know!

Thanks

Zero risk. Your condom workers would be incorrect. Unless your kissing your computer worker you are not at risk.
Also do not share lipstick or chapstick with anyone with a cold sore. Other than that you're safe. Lol

Condom workers, ha! Ok thanks so much for that, I'll inform my co workers that they're wrong! So there's no need to clean surfaces regularly because she has a cold sore? And no need to wash hands more than normal?
That is correct. You will absolutely not get hsv from any surface.
Thanks :)
