Herpes + itchy butt
Haven't had an outbreak last 3yrs but recently 3months ago it resurfaced ,for the first time it came together with an itchy butt which was not much of a problem then ,Doc prescribed valaciclovir 500mg ten days and it surely cleared.Strangely enough the butt itching didn't go.The itching is only in one of butt cheeks,and only a small area alone near the hairy section no bumps,just a rough skin on very close examination.The itching mostly occur at night.Have read a lot in the net,am just wondering what this could be?somebody with similar problem?
A small section of my right cheek,Doctor first prescribed anti fungal cream (clotrimazole)+fluconazole weekly tabs for three weeks, cleared for a week then problem still persisted,urine test for chlamydia was negative,blood tests including blood sugar level normal.I dont expect much from the pinworm test and culture test since clotrimazole had cleared the small roughness (the skin looked normal all the way)Could be candida?BUT also i have BPH...could it be a prostate infection?or could it be a UTI?My girlfriend is ok no complain or any signs of any ailment from day one although this started immediately we had sex ,after a short break.Just observed lately after peeing at night when i wake up the itching slowly disappears,and sometimes mild pain radiates along the right leg towards the knee

Hi, did you have an outbreak on both cheeks as you mention only one side itched?
