Herpes on food?

I used the bathroom touched my shaft, small outbreak that has healed with a small scab. My son was screaming like no other for a piece of cheese. Without thinking to get him to stop screaming(hes 2 1/2) I zippered up and got him a piece of cheese. Now I'm flipping out because I never washed my hands! Could I have transferred herpes from my penis to my hand to the cheese and to him by him eating it? Could it get on his lips, mouth etc? This all happend in less then 40 seconds I figured enough time for the virus to live?

You must get confirmation of whether you do have genital herpes at all and what type it us.

No, what you describe represents essentially zero risk of transmission.
