Possible Transmission?

I recently went to a strip club and during the night, a girl that was laying on my lap kept on placing my hands on her crotch. Well behold she did not have any underwear on, I only touched her pubic area and maybe the upper region of her vaginal lips but no finger penetration whatsoever.

With this being said when I went to the bathroom I forgot to wash my hands!

What are the likely hood of me catching Herpes and forgetting to wash my hands and holding my penis with those hands?

When would I start showing symptoms if I did transmit the virus to my body? Oddly enough I felt sick the next day and my throat is scratchy and I felt like I have a fever. I would not like to pass this on to my gf. Please any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the support.

I always get tested for STD usually once to twice a year, even if I do not have any sexual contact with anyone. Thank you again.

The likelihood of an STI being transmitted in this way are extremely small.  If I were you, I would not spend another minute worrying about this if I were you.  Not one more minute, OK?  It takes more contact and more virus than you had or were exposed to than this to cause genital herpes.

When these questions come up, I always wonder if people have been previously tested for herpes to know that they were not previously infected.  It really bothers me when something like happens and then a year later, a person has a herpes outbreak and they attribute their herpes to some very low risk situation without knowing if they were ever infected before.
