Herpes or Razor Burn?

Okay...I'm about to spit out quite a mouthful here but I feel it may be important to provide as much information as I can to give a proper picture of the situation.

I was a virgin up until very recently...and not just technically speaking...outside of a few small makeout sessions here and there with a few different individuals and a little heavy petting I had not engaged in anything else.......oral sex or otherwise.

I have recently done all of the above with a bf who was not a virgin and who had previously slept with a girl who was not a virgin either. However, he claimed that she was clean so therefore he was clean (he lost it to her)

But after we had first engaged in oral sex (mutually) I began experiencing recurring yeast infections.  During our first time I was suffering from one but was too nervous to say anything about it.  It hurt a little bit from the dryness and I went away with some vaginal tears.  (This first time was unprotected as was the oral)  I even believe I may have been pregnant for a few days after I started and stopped my period and then had a day of very heavy bleeding (almost like an abortion).

Weeks (almost a month) later and after a lot more *protected sex* I noticed 3 medium sized watery blisters on my outer labia....almost right on the groin area....and one red patch that first resembled an ingrown hair, and then ringworm.....I also noticed a similar blister on my inner thigh.

Now, I am very prone to skin irritation and ingrown hairs....and I shave EVERY DAY in the areas I just mentioned (my private area, my inner thighs, and the surrounding areas)  and I have always been prone to ingrown hairs, razor burn, and similar irritation)

These blisters (which are absolutely painless btw) popped up in the exact area I had shaved that afternoon.  They have since broken and the area is a little tender but as far as discomfort goes that's absolutely it.

The only hope I am holding onto that this isn't herpes is that in the areas I am experiencing this strange and unnerving phenomena are places which I often shave a little too hastily and without good razors or enough shaving cream......

Is it at all possible that either the yeast infection and/or shaving could possibly have something to do with the blisters?  Do these blisters necessarily have to be herpes?

I am very worried especially since in a moment of hope-filled doubt I engaged in protected intercourse.......I am hoping it won't spread if it is........but I just want to know that there might be another explanation.

oh and yes, my bf and I have spoken much about it.

He went back to his ex gf and asked her again if she had gotten tested recently for Herpes, and again she claimed to be clean which is suspicious to me.  But i can't prove her right or wrong.

My bf said that he experienced a terrible bout with what he believed to be bad bad razor burn not long ago....(down there)......which upon looking at me said resembled what he had exactly.

So idk....getting tested, so I will know for sure soon.....just trying to stay sane about it.

Ya know, the condom allergy sounds plausible.  I am very prone to allergic reactions...I suffer from hives outbreaks at least once daily, but usually up to 5 times or more....it would appear that my immune system is very overactive.  And whenever I am suffering from a hives outbreak there those nasty blisters are, popping up down there! >.<

I mean, I haven't really heard of such an allergic reaction.....one that would resemble genital herpes so  perfectly....but I am really hoping it's NOT herpes......it's definitely the last thing I want to believe it to be.

I am currently awaiting my screening results.  I see the doctor next week and will have her look at everything.  I am hoping and praying that my results come back negative! I am a believer in miracles.....I am really wanting one :/

Okay, fact is herpes does produce "watery" like blister.  They don't have to be puss-filled, (think...zit or pimple).  Usually they're small, and they itch like crazy.  But...you mentioned that you used vaginal tears, and also condoms.  Since you're a virgin, and I'm assuming you've never used condoms before, maybe you have a latex allergy.

As for the bleeding, losing your virginity causes some bleeding, and it varies in every person.  I didn't bleed at all, but my sister bled like she was having her period.

Honestly, go while you still have the sores, and get them checked out.  Your boyfriend may have only been w/ one person, but think about all the guys she's been w/.  She may appear clean to him, that doesn't mean she was.  There are people out there who have herpes, that don't even know it because they don't have outbreaks.

Just to be safe, go get an STD screening.  For everything, just to make sure.  Have you spoken to your bf about this yet?

And as Jgirl suggested..STOP shaving.  Just by shaving you are irritiating it more and causing it to spread and pop.  Stop shaving for a little bit, see how it does.

Thanks for the feedback, jgirl.  You may not be a doctor but at this point anyone with information is most helpful to me.  At times just regular people with experience can be even more helpful.  I am still holding onto hope and have already been tested...just awaiting my results.  Two more blisters have since popped up.....these are much smaller and much more "herpes-like" in appearance, and another which looks like the other large watery ones.  Funny thing is all of them have appeared only on my right side.........I am hoping it's not Herpes Zoster which follows this pattern.  And I had chicken pox when I was a baby so at any time I can develop Herpes Zoster.........but then again, why would it pop up only after being sexually active with a previously sexually active person?  I'm really only speculating at this point, though.  You're right.....no matter what, I won't feel any better until I see my test results. I really hope it is NOT herpes.....but if it is......I will fight through it.  The best thing I can do at this point is know for sure.

Well, I'm no doctor, and I myself have an unanswered question on here about herpes, but from everything I have been reading the past couple of days, it doesn't sound like herpes, but even if everyone tells you it isn't, youwill probably only feel better if you go to your doctor and have them look at it.  Stop shaving for a couple of days, as that will for sure only irritate it more.
I don't want to get up in your business, but is your labia small or big, I ask this because you could just be getting an irritation from the newly found rubbing which is causing a rash/blister type thing.  It could be a mixture of the rubbing with the shaving.  You really should wax, shaving isn't that great.

as for your period, if you had a miscarriage, most likely you would know.  You have very painful cramping along with more than just blood that is exiting you, like a mucosy type substance.  Even sex with a condom can't always protect against genital herpes/warts, you should go to your doctor, I thought I had herpes or warts one time and it turned out to be an ingrown hair.....my doctor then proceeded to tell me to stay off of the internet, that usually just makes things worse.

Like I said, I'm no doctor, but it doesn't sound like herpes to me....from what I have read, herpes aren't usually wattery, but pus filled.
