Herpes?

Hi, I had protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral sex (for about 10 seconds) with someone who showed no signs of an STD. About a week later I got 4 or 5 pimple like bumps on my penis. They were hard, red, and itchy. I've been doing a lot of research on STDs to try to figure out what it could be. I went to Planned Parenthood where they diagnosed it as Scabies, I did the treatment as well as took an STD test. The test returned negative for herpes, but I was told that sometimes it can take a while for the tests to show a positive result. I'm not really sure if the scabies treatment helped or not, the bumps went away after about 2 weeks after the treatment. Then about a week later, they showed up again. They start kindof like a spider bite, then the skin tears off the top and they have been like that for about two weeks. If I squeeze them a tiny bit of clear fluid comes out. I'm afraid that it is herpes, but: they don't hurt, they don't ever blister (it's just like a mosquito bite when you scratch it too much, the skin tears) they aren't "filled" with fluid of any color (I have to squeeze pretty hard to get fluid), I don't have backaches, fever, fatigue, pain, or nausea. Also they don't seem to come in waves like herpes because it seems like whenever on disappears after about 3 weeks another one pops up. There 2 other itchy bumps in my inner thigh, but other than that there is nothing on my body (I don't think it's scabies for this reason). Any help would be appreciated. Is planned parenthood a trustable resource? I live in a small town so I don't know if there are any doctors specially trained in genital issues. Thank you

most PP don't offer herpes igg blood testing. you need to ask the PP you go to what herpes testing options they offer specifically.

I did take an STD test while I was there and I showed up negative for herpes and syphillis. But I was also told that sometimes it can take a while for a positive test result to show. I'm planning on going back soon to do another test, does anyone know, by chance, what herpes test PP uses? Is it fairly accurate?

I did, the bumps are itchy, but not painful. The only reason I am skeptical about scabies is because it doesn't seem to be spreading at all on my body. Also, I live pretty closely with my family and I would think that by now (it's been 2 months) someone else would have had similar issues. I plan on making another appointment with PP thank you :)

herpes will have pain and/or itching and your symptoms do not.

no real reason to doubt what you were told by PP. It can be hard to get rid of scabies - did you properly treat all your clothing and bedding too?

yes, PP is trustable.
