Herpes or other possibilities

Hi, I had unprotected sex with my ex girlfriend about 6 days ago. It was rough and lengthy, and I don't think we used enough lube. The following morning I noticed some redness/ irritation and a few really small dots on the rim of my penis. I figured this was just from friction and brushed it off. There's been some tingling and slight discomfort on the right side of my penile rim which again I figured was from friction. Tonight I noticed an icy hot sort of feeling on my scrotum and more irritation where the friction burn was. I have no obvious bumps or blisters. I am going to get tested for herpes but I'm curious if this could be from harsh body wash and pre existing friction irritation.

Ok cool thanks! The icy hot feeling is gone now and the irritation is gone too. I'm still going to get tested just to make sure
