Herpes risk

Hi I have cold sore and not sure I have eye herpes or not because I got small bump on my eyelid. I touched my face( pimple or herpes bumps not sure)with wet hand and then I picked and pass the sandwich package to my sister with the same wet hand. The place to tear on package is wet. If my sister tear the package from the wet area and eat the sandwiches, is this a risk for her to get cold sore or herpes? Please help.

Last time, just a short time ago, you asked about herpes and you knew it was a PIMPLE and not herpes at that time.  Now you've diagnosed yourself with herpes simplex 1 and you think you gave it to yourself on your eye? How is your treatment for anxiety going?

I got cold sore on my lip and doctor confirmed it. I am just worry that I might spread it to my family without knowing. Please help.
Eighty percent of the population has herpes simplex 1. Yep, that man.  80% of the world's population. It is NOT a big deal. If you don't want to kiss your kids on the mouth when you have a cold sore, fine. But otherwise, there is no reason to fret over this. You can get some  over the counter cold sore ointment (in the states it's called Abreva as a popular brand).  Don't blow this out of proportion.
