Herpes

On Monday night I made the biggest mistake and slept with a prostitute while drunk. While we were having intercourse I was wearing a condom but the condom maybe broke about 30 seconds before I ejaculated. This was the first time I was ever with a prostitute and I am really freaking out now. What are the chances of me having herpes? It's been 4 days and there are no signs of lesions or anything of the sort. I am extremely scared and I would really appreciate if a Proffesional could help me out with my questions. What are the chances that I have herpes? What are the chances I might have any other sexually transmitted disease and should I be very worried? She had no visible lesions but I know there's still a possibility that she has herpes. Please help!

Hi..extremely worried parent.I have a friend staying over at my house.I noticed he has very chapped almost cracked lips...he's coming from puerto Rico's warm climate to ny cold weather....don't know if that has something to do with it or if its herpes.anyways my 3 year old boy took my friends lip balm and put some on! I think it was around two hours after my friend had put some on...don't know if that makes a difference.  But extremely worried for my kid...any info would be greatly appreciated

a one time encounter is in general really low.

since you had a condom break, follow up on std testing at the proper times just to err on the side of caution. You can test for gonorrhea, chlamydia, trich and ngu after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.
