Herpes whitlow?

I was wondering if the red dots on my finger are herpetic whitlow. They don't itch or burn, they only hurt a little if I press on them but not enough to cause discomfort.

Hi the only way to confirm whitlow is a swab or a blood test but its not common for every day people, more for those in the dental profession with hsv1. One symptom to whitlow is pain which does cause discomfor from being open sores not red dots.. What your describing would not appear herpes related
