I was diagnosed with genital herpes about 2 weeks ago. I was prescribed Valtrex, which I took for three days. Now, I single white pumps on different locations of my upper body (arms, chest, & face). It appears like heat bumps. Not aware if I'm experiencing an outbreak or not, I called my doctor & asked for a refill on Valtrex because I suspected an outbreak happening since I was having a tingling sensation on my vagina. I am also taking Pyridum & Bactrim for a bladder infection I was diagnosed with earlier this week. Could the medications have caused the tingling sensation? I always experience the white bumps on my upper body, but never on my face. My face bumps occurred after being diagnosed with herpes. I'm also experiencing constant headaches. Please help clarify. Thanks! Post a Co

Really at this point you need to see your provider.  The symptoms can be from the medication and should be brought up to a provider as well.  This forum isn't meant to subsititue for proper medical advice when one is having symptoms.

I am experiencing muscle pain (abdomen & back) and have a slight sore throat. Is my condition getting worst or am I experiencing something else. I'm really getting worried to the fact of going to the ER since my Dr.'s office is closed for the holidays. Please advise!!!!

this is more likely a reaction to the bactrim you are on.   give your provider a call and ask about it.

I was diagnosed by a culture from a single white bump I had on my vagina & I also took a blood test, where both tests came back positive.
