Is this herpes?

About a year ago I had a sex with my ex. I remember every time we were having sex she was getting UTIs (3 or 4 in row, everytime after we had sex). I was confused because I was always clean. The last time we had sex was last year in February. Not long after the sexual encounter (I don't remember how long) I remember having a big white head pimple on the head of my penis. I remember popping it and then it turning all red and irritated. Then it would scab. I started putting tough actin tinactin (anti fugal creme) on it and after about a week it would be completely gone. At first I was like great it was just a fungus. However not long after, in the same spot it would flaking of the skin would appear in that same spot. I tried a few other times to keep putting on the fungus creme but I would always forget and the rash like thing would come back and my skin would flake in that area. Fast forward to now, a year later. I really think I'm in denial that it is possibly herpes. Part of me is still holding out hope that it is some type of fungus and maybe the creme didn't work because I didnt use it twice a day for 4 weeks like the tube says. Starting today Im going to use it on the area twice a day for 4 weeks and hope this clears it up once and for all. However I just have a sneaky suspicion this is herpes =/ I should note that I've never felt any pain or itchiness. It just comes and starts peeling that specific part of the head of my penis. I put the creme on and it goes away temporarily. Then comes back after i stop putting the creme. Does this sound like herpes ? I know I should go to the dermatologist but I have no money and like i said i think still in denial...

Hi this doesnot sound like herpes at all. Herpes are clear liquid not white puss filled. Often when the top layer of skin has been damaged, cronic conditions can develop. Maybe talk to your local phamasist about some other creams that may help clear this up.

Thanks for the response. I just remember it looking like a big zit at first. What you mention does sound like what I'm referring to in the sense that the top layer of the skin has been damaged and it's been a chronic condition. Good idea with talking to the pharmacist. I will ask them (when i muster up the courage ha!)
