Herpes?

Saw a sex worker through an agency about 1 month ago, i had a couple of scares dealing with a yeast infection(I'm male) and/or balanitis. Along with that, I'm not sure if the itching and redness around my lips is eczema or herpes. There are times i get red dots on my lips from the slightest touch, but they go away after a while. I started seeing this girl i really like and I'm scared that it could be a possibility i may have caught something. What are the possibilities i could have caught something, she performed oral without protection and we kissed. Not sure if my mind is the one playing tricks on me, or if irritations that occur both on my penis and lips are herpes related. Also, i see that testing can be done after 6 weeks and ive seen that some say 3 months. Very confused, very scared. Help. Thanks.

I wouldn't be worried that it's hsv. Was there heavy kissing involved? It won't change ny opinion i was just trying to assess any risk

Not very heavy, it was mostly closed lip kisses with the occasional open mouth kisses with not a lot of spit involved. She had no visual reoresentation of anything on her lips.

To finish, i have had pain on my lower lip, just on my right side, a bit if swelling, no redness, or bruising, of course since i read the symptoms i worried, you seem to have a better understanding is this something to be worried about?

And aside from the pain, it feels like when you rip of the skin from your lip, again no visual, but it feels that way. Thanks.

Symptoms or primary outbreak usually show 3-7 days after exposure. The odds of you contracting hsv and not having symptoms is unlikely

Stop reading symptoms lists. When people don't have a firm knowledge on how tbe virus works it makes it very difficult to understand tbe context of the symptoms. Nothing you describe sounds like herpes.

My friend who had HSV did mention this, she also suggested that if i were positive i would have already probably shown signs of lesions as i have a lowered immune system due to my ibs and heart condition, is there truth to that? Also ive been overly stressed due to me worrying. One positive was that i read symptoms usually appear withing the first 3 weeks after exposure.

Also, i read about pre symptoms and they mention itching burning and pain around the lip area before sores appear.can they last for weeks/days?
