Herpes?Sebaceous Cysts?or Ingrown Hair?

Ok so I will be 18 in a few more months...I've been sexually active since I was first turned 16. However, I've had these bumps on my vagina that appear and reappear since I was 13. They usually get tender after a while and then this yellowish-white color comes out then blood. I'm not sure if I have herpes since this has been happening before i have had sexualy intercourse. Im not sure what this is...also i 've looked at pictures of herpes and my bumps dont look like them. and i wanted to know if you give oral sex if you could get herpes on your genitals instead of on your lips?
......oh and the bumps are usually located on the area over the lips-not near the vaginal opening

since this started before you were sexually active it's not a std. you do need to follow up on it with your provider though the next time you have one to get a proper diagnosis. Many reoccuring skin infections it could be and once you find out what is going on, you can better treat it when it occurs.

do not have sex when you have these symptoms though.

Do you shave or wax your pubic hair? Those sound more like ingrown hair or infected hair follicles than anything else. Herpes would break out in the mucosa. I don't understand when you say 'area over the lips'. This could mean anything, really. Labia minora, or the labia major?
On the plus side, what you have does not at all sound like herpes. Just pimples or ingrown hairs or something. Practice hygiene and shave with a new razor.

Yes you can give genital herpes through oral sex. Use a condom when you give oral sex, and never have sex during an outbreak. If you're receiving oral sex, make a dental dam out of a condom. Cut the tip off with a pair of scissors, and then cut the ring in one spot (you don't want to cut it completely in half). Unroll, place over female genitalia, and voila. Protection against dirty mouths.
