How do I know?

I have been diagnosed with yeast infections, bacterial infections, several UTIs and trichamonis over the past 7 months...Since then, I have had no sexual intercourse. I was recently tested for HIV by my OBGYN just as a last resort for the possible cause of my issues. She told me I was positive for herpes. She said I was probably infected long ago. My question is, why have I NEVER had any sores, lesions, etc? Now she's saying the itching and slight, slight watery discharge I'm experiencing is from the herpes. But now the itching has pretty much subsided, just a little tenderness. How did these not seem like herpes symptoms before? Should I be retested? All the info on the different tests out there is confusing to me...please someone help!

I can best help you if you post your actual test results - e.g. hsv1 igg 5.9 and hsv2 igg 3.09 or whatever they are. give the clinic a call and ask for them for you to post here. thanks!
