How long after blister show up will they burst and crust over?

It is typical for the primary infection to happen where the virus enters the body and recurrent outbreaks will be somewhere on one side of the body or the other but not both.

Well, typically (do you hate that word yet?) you will get sores where the virus entered your body, but since herpes infects nerve groups, it really can be anywhere the nerve pathway is.

Thanks alot AJ. As you can tell this has been a very stressful time for me. It appears like I have all of the typical symptoms but I had a condom on and where I think the blister are was covered by a condom, And I know for a fact I was negative before this encounter, I had been tested.

Yes, its possible, but its not typical.  

Usually the whole process takes a week or two, a little longer for a primary outbreak. Everyone will differ here, and if you have herpes, you will find that this could differ between each outbreak as well.

I know - vague as hell.  :(

and it is possible for you first outbreak to be 4 weeks after the possible infection? I know that it is generally said to be between 2-20 days.
