just itching is more likely to be bacterial vaginosis. Return to your provider for proper testing for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally. not just a looksee, they need to be testing your vaginal secretions either in the office or sending them off to the lab to look for infection.
You can get a blood test for syphilis anytime after 6 weeks post encounter. Get a herpes igg blood test 3 months after the encounter to cover that base too.

I wasn't tested for syphillis the dr. started too but was sure it was herpes. herpes result came back negative. dr . said it could be. i had 2 large bumps on my vagina/ buttox and they were red/tender kind of looked like burn marks. its about 3 weeks later n im just itchinng downthere
did you have testing for syphilis? really easy to rule it out.
