Hsv2 MM

Terri,

Thanks for all you do In this forum!
I was involved in mutual masterbation with a SW (genital-hand-genital). There was minimal secretions exchanged. Three days later I developed a hard bump under my Pubic area. It felt like a cyst. The next day I was able to pop it. Three months later I still have a rash where I popped it. I tested negative
( herpeselect igg) 5 weeks and 11 weeks negative. Also tested on all other stds negative. Now 13 weeks later I still experience sore testicles and pelvic discomfort (continuously). I understand my anxiety is High, but Do you see more need for testing? Was my risk very low? And what are my chances of having hsv2 from this activity?

Thanks!

Terri,

I was tested again for peace of mind at 15 weeks (couldn't wait) and I was negative. Just wanted to say thank you! With a 15 week negative and my low risk (one time exposure), I look forward to moving on!

Thanks again

No, the antibiotics would not influence the test results.

I will do my best to move on, and if I test at 16 weeks I will post my results.

Would being on antibiotics such a cipro or doxy affect the results? You have been most helpful.

Thanks terri!

Have a great weekend

I absolutely think your results at 11 weeks is fine.  If you can successfully not test again without worrying, then great.  Don't test again.  If you continue to worry and you believe another test would set your mind at rest, then test again.  Skin symptoms have nothing to do with prostate issues or rashes.  I'm guessing you already know that, but just saying…….

Terri,

It was one single bump, and I had popped it. It seemed to be puss that came out. I have a hard time remembering exact detail. Fear has consumed me. I'm just worried because their was exchanging of hands. So you believe my 5 and 11 week tests were enough? I'm going to the urologist because I was diagnosed with prostatitis by my  doctor. So I believe my symptoms are  related to that, but it just seems very coincidental. And if I do test at 16 is that conclusive? I'm really trying to eliminate this from my mind, but this rash and symptoms only remind me that this is still a possibility. Should I stop dumping money into this? Or test one more time and rely on that?

Thank you so much!

I absolutely do not see any need for further herpes testing.
Would you say that these bumps have kind of firm stuff that you can squeeze out, like a hard pimple?  Do they have a dent in the middle of them?
