herpes?Timeline?symptoms?

Dr, I Kissed and rec'd oral sex w sex trade worker. Week later got red lesion on tongue, w white border. which eventually continued into geographic tongue, then hairy tongue, still persists. Encounter, last weekend of November 2010. After over a month, i began to have burning in my inner thighs, thighs, which con't to what feels like my lower legs at times and the sides of my ribs. I have had a lot of anxiety in regards to this. i know my body and my thighs never burned on and off before. i also have red blotches which appear on/off under the surface of the skin of my penis, just the head and commonly near the tip, they do not break the skin, no pain or discomfort. No fever, but the odd headaches, perhaps symptoms or lack of sleep and hydration. I have felt at times some cloudiness, foginess to the head, weak/tired feeling. No sores on penis or lips, but lips are dry and have some Fordyce spots on them (not noticable), some tinglingish feeling around my mouth, but not lips (not sure if from new facial hair ive grown whichi have never had before). Yeast infections of mouth, penis, body are so similar i dont know what i have? My penis appears cracked when clean and dryed out (uncircumcised), and super smooth, like a layer of clear skin is over it. red patches come and go, but dont stick around for too long.  I feel i have Herpes, or Yeast infection that is spreading throughout my body.  Why the Burning on/off? since mid Dec ive taken 'Quikclear' natural remedy for Herpes (apparently suppose to eliminate it) Could this be holding it off? Dermatologist/Dr/std clinic think im ok and clear of anything.....except the tongue issues.  Helps pls :D

We can't rule out herpes completely until enough time has gone by for an accurate antibody test.  Have you had any antibody testing done for herpes yet?  If you are negative at 6 weeks, there is a 70% chance you will stay that way.  It might be worth doing a test at least a little ways into this to get some reassurance, and then do a final antibody test 4 months from the contact.  It sounds like your dermatologist is a good resource for you here, as well.

So the Diflucan for 11 days doesn't seem to be helping, I dont think.  I still have redness come and go on my penis, one day it was very red inflamed like psoriasis, dried out, cracks and wrinkles, with bright red patches under the skin, which is scaly and smooth when pulled tight or if erect. Went to dermatologist again, who again, does not think its herpes, said to try some vitamin e/moisurize basically.

i notice that i have white residue around my inner lips when i wake up, i can wipe it off w my finger. If the diflucan didnt work, you think this is herpes? Does herpes cause burning in the inner thighs, quads, legs area?? The std Dr on here said that is not a symptom.  Perhaps some of these things arent related, but im having a hard time believing that.......Could it be a deep routed fungal/yeast candidia infection you think? my tongue is still geographic and seems to be cyclical, not fully recovering.  Next week im am going back to the std clinic for a final hiv test, 2 negs so far,....and they dont think i have anything.....Something is not right, and for some reason i feel my mucosa's of mouth(tongue, lips) and penis are infected, therefore i keep going back to thinking its herpes,

Your symptoms do sound more like a fungal infection than herpes.  I'll be eager to hear how the several days of antifungal medicine work for you.

Well, i showed the dermatologist pictures and my penis, because the redness on my penis head comes and goes. Now it more faint than before but still shows up then goes away, but you can still see it, sounds weird, but almost like a shadow of red in behind. At first it was bright red and very distinct, (again though coming and going)like grouping of a red blotch and some red dots, all under the skin. This has never, ever happened to me before, i know my body.

I havent been washing my penis a whole lot more, but have been using Jock Itch Cream on it for a week and a bit. The penis when dried out, looks glassy, and is very smooth, at times very dried out like surface cracks, which can be very noticable, again though they disipate w moisture and time. AGain this is not normal for me. I read that Thrush/Yeast type infections on the penis like that can cause burning in the area, (maybe why the inner thighs legs?) showing nothing external but my penis. I read the penis get scaly, shinny or cracks to protect itself from the infection (??not sure if this is 100% saw it in a few places. my though was a fungal or yeast infection that was in my mouth and penis and had built up some strength immunity over the last 2 months almost, bc it literally felt like side of my ribs, liver etc were a little tender for a period. I am on 11 day course of Diflucan from my personal Dr, and Nystatin, although not officially diagnosed with anything really.

std clinic has looked at me and symptoms more than a few times (although red blotches were not present) and dont think i have any std infections, pee tests, blood and swabbed the tongue at the start when i first notice a mark on it (hiv test at 6 wks and 8 wks, when i saw the hairy tongue i was worried it was hiv, all neg and going back for last one after 12 weeks). Saw my Dr a few times, A Dermatologist Dr twice, std Dr's 3-4 times all can't or havent diagnosed it, but dont think its Herpes. I am stressed, highly from this, but i am healthy, know my body and this all happened after the forementioned incident (tongue, eventually redness penis, then hairy tongue, and burning legs (like very noticable), spurts of weakness usually short or run down, some small very light mild headaches at back of the head, numbness around the mouth exterior where facial hair would grow like goatee area, comes and goes. I feel at times my immune system is run down, if it is, was, would herpes not have already appeared on lips, penis etc.? Again, obviously i am worried this is herpes, or some sort of yeast i contracted both oral and genitally....is that possible. ? your input is much appreciated

This sounds a little fungal to me, though hard to say without seeing it.  Did you actually see someone who said it didn't look like anything infectious?  Its hard to tell for sure from your posting.  Nothing at all that you have described sounds herpetic to me, nothing.  Could you be washing your penis too often, could that be why it is looking cracked?  I seriously doubt that anything called Quikclear is doing anything to help herpes, if, by some long shot, you have it.  Please don't be taken in!

my penis just seems irritated, when its real dry it looks like cracks in multiple spots on it, comes and goes, the cracks look kinda aggressive but are superficial, and go away. Strange, this has never happened to me before, and i have never done anything stupid like this in my LIfe !
