Does this sound like herpes?

I have had 3 sexual partners since June 16th. The first one was always with condoms - except for oral sex, which I performed. About two weeks later I hooked up with a girl, but all we did was make out and I fingered her a little bit. Now I have a sexual partner who I know for a fact is clean. About two/three weeks ago I developed a scab on my inner thigh that looked and behaved just like psoriasis, which runs in my family on my father's side, so I dismissed it as that. It had mild itching, no pain, and went away, leaving a brownish scar that fades every day. Yesterday I suddenly developed a sore throat and a build up of mucus making it difficult to swallow after giving my boyfriend oral the night before, and then a headache came. I decided to take a shower and saw a red bump with a darker, blood red bump in the middle on my pelvis, about four inches below my belly button - like a puncture wound. I immediately thought herpes and became sick with worry and was up all night. I managed to sleep for about two hours, and re-examined the bump to find that it looks the same, if not a little bigger. There is no pain. The throat issue is clearing up. There's a loss of appetite at this moment but I think it's because of the anxiety. Does herpes start off looking like a puncture wound? I am praying it's just a bug bite... there is no itching however and no pain. It's just there. I'd love some help with this..

There's nothing here that sounds much like herpes at all.

However if there are some concerns maybe you and your partner should mutually test. Remember herpes is rarely tested for in a panel. When people tell you they are clear, this will almost always not include herpes.

Thank you. Ongoing symptoms and a lack of blistering/progress at the outbreak site has led me to believe I received a poisonous bug bite. I'll be treating it as well as I'm able to from home while I can.
