at this point your partner needs tested to see what their status is. If they are hsv2+, then you'll need to wait a few months and repeat your blood test again. if your current partner is hsv2 -, then you can seek out additional confirmatory testing for your own status.
bv is very common in us gals. It's not uncommon to get it periodically.
Thanks. My last sexual encounter was on March 8th. I noticed that a discharge and that it was my 2nd episode of bacterial vaginal infection. I have been involved in a relationship with one partner since Sept. 2010-current. Prior to this I was not involved with anyone since 2008. So, I was without any sexual activity for 2 years. My gyn. informed that its possible that me having a new sex partner of the ph levels/acidity was causing the B.V.
So, March 10th: I was diagnosed with B.V. and was given Flagyl antibotic and GYN decided to do a full STD screening
March 17th: I was informed that I had yeast as well and scored 1.80 on Herpeselect. I have never had any symptoms or outbreaks. Grace, I'm really having a difficult time. Is this false positive or do you know of more definitive tests because based on the research I read my score is concerned a low positive.
